Celebrate Louisiana's Raptors With Us!

Join us for an afternoon of Louisiana (and beyond) raptor education with Sally Farrell from Wind in My Feathers! Sally received her training at the Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center of the New Orleans Audubon Zoo and is a USFWS licensed raptor rehabilitator and educator with state and federal permits for New Orleans and the surrounding area.

Sally will give a presentation of live, non-releasable raptors with accompanying lecture, supplemented with audio and visual aids such as photography, taped bird calls, owl castings, feather displays, skulls and owl feet. A question and answer period follows the talk.

After the presentation, there will be a guided interpretive hike where we will use our eyes and ears to prowl for wild owls and other raptors!

Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring a chair for your own comfort.
